Bluebridge ferry help for campervan travellers!
Crossing Cook Strait is part of the adventure. Here’s how to time your sailing, what to allow for check-in, and how to make the North–South transition smooth in a campervan.
There are several crossings each day between Wellington and Picton, so there’s no rush, but between December and February it’s best to book ahead to make sure you get a spot when you want it.

How much does it cost?
Vehicle and 1 Adult – $315.00 per trip
Extra Adults - $80.00 per trip
Child Passengers (1 – 17 years) $43.50 per trip

Please note all bookings for Bluebridge made via Happy Campers are fully flexible. Changes to bookings for dates, times or direction are made free of charge if availability allows.
